A short checklist to complete before we arrive. Less is more: every cleared surface makes a room feel larger.
Remove
- Personal photos and papers
- Fridge magnets and counter clutter
- Toiletries, soaps and toothbrushes
- Pet beds, bowls and toys
- Cars from the driveway
Windows and mirrors
- Wipe streaks and fingerprints
- Open blinds and curtains
- Screens off where the view matters
Floors
- Vacuum and mop
- Rugs straight, cords tucked
- Shoes and mats put away
Lights, lamps and fans
- Every bulb working and matching
- All lights on, fans off
- Lampshades straight
Kitchen and baths
- Counters clear except one or two accents
- Towels fresh and folded
- Toilet lids down, shower doors clean
Outside
- Lawn mowed, leaves cleared
- Hoses, bins and tools out of sight
- Pool clean, furniture arranged
- Porch lights on for twilight
Please ensure contractors, landscapers and other crews have finished before we arrive, so the home is quiet and ready to be photographed. Thank you.
